Adrien Signoles
Chief Hardware Officer
Adrien Signoles is the Chief Hardware Officer at Pasqal, where he leads the development and scaling of the company’s neutral atom quantum processors.
Adrien joined Pasqal in 2019 as one of its very first quantum hardware engineers. He has played a central role in the company’s R&D efforts, overseeing the transition from academic experiments to industrial-grade quantum processing units (QPUs). The department he’s currently leading is focusing on scaling Pasqal’s technology to over 10,000 high-fidelity qubits, while facilitating its industrialization to allow for production and worldwide commercialization of QPUs.
Dr. Signoles holds a PhD in Quantum Physics from the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris (2014), where his research focused on the manipulation of Schrödinger’s cat states using quantum dynamics.
Before joining Pasqal, Adrien conducted advanced research on quantum simulation with cold atoms. He served as a postdoctoral researcher at Heidelberg University in Germany and later at the Institut d’Optique in France, working on many-body quantum dynamics and disordered systems.
